The Plaza Mayor shopping centre offers three separate shopping and entertainment areas within a vast outdoor complex.
McArthur Glen designer outlet: There are more than 100 luxury and designer brands at Plaza Mayor’s McArthur Glen designer outlet, including Polo, Maje, Karl Lagerfeld, Escada, RayBan, Ralf Lauren, Guess, Adidas, Under Armour, Asics, Clarks, Claudie Pierlot, Diesel, Puma, Sandro, Scalpers, and many more.
Plaza Mayor high street shopping: In the large entertainment complex that adjoins the McArthur Glen outlet area, you’ll find amongst the restaurants, entertainment and cinema, a large Nike outlet, a Mediamrkt store for electronic goods and smartphones, plus a scattering of small shops and boutiques ranging from clothing and souvenirs to sweets and toys. In the separate buildings across the car park, you’ll find lots of high-street brands like Zara, H&M, Primor for cosmetics and perfumes, Salsa Jeans, Desigual, Base sportswear, Intimissimi for lingerie, Sunglass Hut, and more. Here, you can also do your grocery shopping in the Marcadona supermarket.
In the McArthur Glen outlet shopping area, restaurants are limited as shops take up most of the space. However, there’s a Starbucks, plus Cafe & Tapas, La Boutique and Mas Q Menos which offer snacks, coffee and tapas.
The good news is you’ll find more than 20 cafés and restaurants in the Plaza Mayor entertainment complex which adjoins the McArthur Glen outlet area. Including Taco Bell, Block House steak house, La Tagliatelle Italian food, McDonalds, Burger King, various ice cream shops, and more. If you fancy tapas, we personally love Lizarran!
You can find all the ways to get there via, bus, car or train here on the McArthur website. You can jump on the train from Fuengirola, Malaga or even Alora, and ride directly to the Plaza Mayor train station.
